How to get the old taskbar back on Windows 7

Heya guys. Today, I’ll tell you how to make the Windows 7 “Superbar” into the normal “taskbar”. If you don’t like the new version of quick launch aka pinning programs to the superbar, get rid of all of the programs stored on your superbar.  To do this, right click on the icon and the icon and click “unpin from taskbar”.

After you get all of the icons off: Start Menu—>Control Panel—>Large Icons—> Taskbar and Start Menu.

So…

Untitled

Then

Untitled

Now you’ll have open a menu. Go to taskbar buttons and click on the little pull-out menu. Now just click “Never combine”. Now, it’ll just look like this:

Untitled

The only problem now is that the taskbar is still bigger than on other Windows versions. To fix this, go back onto the Taskbar and Start Menu window and check “Use Small Icons”. Now, it looks like this:

Untitled

That’s better. You just changed the superbar to the good ol’ taskbar. You can still pin items to the taskbar, but now the icons are small and look like quick launch from Vista.

Hope this helped,

Safari 4 PC

Heya guys. I’m gonna show you about Safari 4 PC beta. The good ol’ Mac browser doesn’t look like it did. Safari 3 looks like this:

Untitled

Safari 4 looks like this:

Untitled2

Anyway, there are a few new things about Safari.

1st: 4 uses a new engine that makes it incredibly fast

2nd: 4 doesn’t have the blue loading bar behind the URL bar

3rd: It has a new fancy URL suggest menu

4th: It’s tab bar is on the top, like in Chrome

You may have noticed that 4 looks entirely different than 3. Well, this is because it has a new feature: “Windows native look & feel”. Well, it looks like a Windows app. But not a good one. The picture I gave is on Windows7. It doesn’t look too bad on Win7, but look at it on WinXP:

safari-4-for-windows

I told you. It looks terrible. And, there’s the tab bar. I told you, it stole from Chrome. Tab bar on the top…it’s actually a smart move, but stolen from Chrome nonetheless.

4 has a new “Most Viewed” option. It shows you your most viewed sites. You can choose between 3 options: Small, medium, and large. The smaller the pictures are, the more sites you can have.

Here’s a picture of the Most Viewed thing:

That’s that.     I hope you enjoyed, Rasenganfan2

Browsers That Work On Windows 7

No browsers for Windows 7 besides IE!?

Untitled

Untitled

Untitled

It looks like IE is the only browser for Windows 7… But it’s not! Most every browser for Vista works on 7.

Here are browsers that I know 100% work on 7:

Firefox

Untitled

Chrome

Untitled

Safari

Untitled

I’m sure that other browsers work, but these are the ones I know work. I guess they work because 7 is very similar to Vista.

Hope this helped you guys out,

How to make videos

I'm gonna tell you how to make videos.

1st, download a program called Hypercam. You can get it from here. This is what you use to record from your desktop aka record straight from your computers screen, like in my videos. Unless you spend money to register it, there's a small little 'Unregistered Hypercam' tag in the upperleft corner of your videos. It does suck. But, Hypercam is the best recording program I've found.

2nd, download a program called Any Video Converter. There are 2 versions. Freeware version which has many input and output video files, and Pro version which has almost every input and output. Seriously, it has Ipod, PSP, etc..

3rd, make your video. Start hypercam and record whatever it is that you wanted to do.

4th, prepare to convert. Hypercam puts the video file in .avi. Avi's are incredibly huge, and don't even have the best quality. So, open up Any Video Converter, and search for the video file. By default, the file is in your documents folder(if you're in Vista). Just find it there, click on it, then click OK.

5th, convert the file. If you want the smallest file possible, go with flv. It's flash video file. However, it compresses the file making the quality not that good. If you want great quality and small file, go with mp4. It's what I use. Not the smallest, but it has great quality. If you want the best quality, but large file, go with mpegII(2). It takes a long time to convert, and makes the file huge, but it has amazing quality. Once you've decided on the file you want, click convert.

6th, upload the video. Go to Youtube, sign in(or create profile if you don't have a Youtube), click the upload button. Find the converted video file. For Vista: Start-->Home-->Documents-->AnyVideoConverter. Just open the folder that is the type of file that you converted the video into. Click on the file and click ok. Then click upload.

Hope this helps,
Rasenganfan2

PS: There is an alternate recording program called CamStudio. Go to camstudio.com and download it. It's pretty straight forward from there.

PSS: There are shortcuts in Hypercam. F2, start/stop recording. F3, pause/resume recording. F4, take a 1frame shot(this one is really useless).
